Hollow Healer - VFX Design

One of the biggest animation projects I've worked on at Chase A Cloud in collaboration with Tongal, S.G. Blaise and Lilac Grove Entertainment. My roles - vis dev, storyboarding, character layout, character design, and 2D VFX design.
*The painted backgrounds in these images were created by the amazing Zackery Adame.
In this project. similairly to Lego Avengers, I had to art-direct and design the look of the 2D VFX and create detailed breakdowns for the animators to follow. This was probably my favourite part of this project. Creating juicy VFX visuals is super satisfying for me. Special thanks to the Chase A Cloud team for their guidance and for bringing this massive artwork to fruition, and to Axel Rousselot, Julie Cauzac, and Sahil Sadave for bringing my 2D VFX designs to life.
